It’s a wonderfully busy time in the Performing Arts faculty at the moment, so we thought we’d take a few minutes out of rehearsal and let you know what’s coming to the stage soon.
75 students Tap dancing and hurling custard Pies in Jerry Herman’s Classic musical set in the era of the Keystone Kops!
It is a show that promises to make every one forget their worries and leave the theatre dancing.

As part of their Performance Studies course the year 12 students must devise 3 hard hitting musical theatre community based shows.

A packed auditorium saw the Year 10 Btec Performing Arts students put on an excellent production of Wicked, the massive West End hit musical. The students were being assessed throughout the performance and this helped them turn out a wonderful performance which had the audience clapping enthusiastically throughout. Well done to all of them.
