General RE
General Religious Education is compulsory for every student in sixth form at St Mary’s College and all students are entered for the NOCN General RE course.
Year 8 students have the opportunity of spending a week’s retreat at the Briars in Crich. Students also have the opportunity to visit local places of worship and attend interfaith conferences.
The department runs a trip to New York for students studying A level RE which is increasingly popular.
