The Y9 rugby league team have won through to the Hull Schools final to be played at Craven Park on June 2nd. At Haworth Park on May 13th they beat Beverley Longcroft 14-0 and Wolfreton School 4-0 to reach the group stage final where they played Pickering Sports College who they beat 12-0 to go through. Excellent forward play by Tom Sullivan, James Mayes and Richard Gibb laid a solid foundation along with some fierce tackling from all of the side but especially Matthew Marsh and Aaron Overfield. In not conceding a try in over an hour of rugby the team showed real class.
