East Riding Home to School Transport Changes from September 2009

Please watch this space for the latest news on the replacement bus services to the school.

From Tuesday 8th September 2009 the college will operate three bus services which will replace those previously operated by ERYC. The bus services will be run by Ellie Rose Travel Limited and will follow the same routes as previously, apart from SMC 3 which will now go from Hedon to Preston and via Bilton to the school.  The three routes will be SMC 1via Market Weighton/Beverley; SMC 2via  Hessle and SMC3 via Winestead/Hedon/Preston.

All parents who applied for a place for their child on one of the above routes have been sent a letter during August - see letter to application parents below. The daily cost of the bus fare will be £2.80 and parents will be required to purchase a bus pass for each half term, with the cost based on the number of days in each half term.

If you wish your child to use one of the services and have not received a letter please email the contacts below as soon as possible. Bus passes for the first half term will be sold to parents during the second week of term, so you do not need a bus pass to use the bus during the first week of term. However you do need to have applied for a place on the bus, and therefore need to contact the school immediately if you have not already applied for a place.
